I'm a teach who received two threatening phone messages what should I do (see details)?

I received two phone messages 10 days apart one was a threat to rape and the other was a death threat. The phone messages were during summer vacation, the voice was the same; but they tried to disguise it - it sounds like one of the kids, but I cannot tell which one. The school said that I am obligated to my contract and school starts in three days. The police have done very little to help claiming that they cannot get any phone records. Their best advice was that I should look at my classrom for any items I could use as a weapon.
