I'm a soldier deploying to Iraq and I was wondering about cellphone service?

I'm a soldier deploying to Mosul, Iraq and I did some research on cell phone use. I read up on Iraqna and some other services, but they said that they don't work in northern Iraq and Mosul area.

I also took a look at my current contract with T-mobile, and the international roaming can get too expensive.

I was hoping that some one knew of any way I could use a cell phone while overseas, whether its prepaid or a contract. I would be satisfied with a tracfone if I could use it.

Please help!
