L Laura New member Jan 9, 2010 #2 This might not be right but what i would think is that you would first calculate the force by using : F = mass x gravitational field strength. F= 1.4 x 10 = 14N Then use F=ma ?? F= mass x acceleration 14 = 1.4 x a a = 10 ms^-2 Soz if this is wrong x
