You better master the Japanese language first before even thinking of trying to join their military. But Japan doesn't really have a military. They have a militia or National Guard of sorts. They are not allowed to have a military as part of the peace treaty signed at the end of World War 2. The USA is considering lifting that band.
 
You are going to need to know Japanese and most likely be a citizen of Japan.

They don't even really have a military, its just a small National Guard sort of deal like the other guy said.
