...PLEASE HELP!!!? The reason i'm doing this so early is to be prepared and I can make sure that i'm motivated enough to make good grades through high school so I can get into the college I want. What made me think of this is that i've been having two c's in a class(have to get them to a b before march 2) and I never ever ever make c's on a report card EVER. My mom is really upset about it and it made me think that if I want to be the best, I have to make the best that I can be. I want to be a professional photographer and I was talking to my parents about this and they believed in me which is good because my parents never believe in me! :D I get compliments on my photography a lot and all I have is a little coolpix camera. I would like to be a fashion photographer. Any idea on which would be the best college to take courses for this at? Also, what courses do I need to take? Please help and any advice would be great. Thank you!

Hey, I'm into photography too! I'm 15 and also planning on going to college. If you want to start thinking about it, talk to your counselor in the office. Thats the most you can do in middle school, or as I remember. When you get into high school, I strongly suggest going into the career center. The people in their have all the resources you could possibly dream of. Unfortunately, most scholorships are only good for juniors and seniors, but you might get lucky and find a few that apply to freshman and sophmores. Also, I suggest going to different professional studios and asking questions. They might even want to see your work. I have a stdio that wants my work because I did so. And the thing about your camera: save your money and get a really nice DSLR. Before you just buy the first one you see, do a little research and find the one that fits you. I got a Nikon D60 and I love it. Good luck. :)

I would research through Google, and other resources. You could also check out the library, or ask your high school counselor. For classes, you should probably take Photography, and computers. There is a lot of editing involved in photography, so you'll need that background. Also, if they offer Advanced Photo or anything like that at your school, be sure to take it! I hope this helped, and good luck!
