financial aid, who can help m? I left school in the 10th and never got to speak with a guidance counselor regarding this matter, Im an only child who was raised by his mom..she didnt know any better....How can I correct this problem thats hindering me so???
 
Not only is failure to sign with Selective Services an insult to the United States as a country, it is a law and you can get fined and do jail time. My advice to you is to try and sign up for it even if you are too old. If you really need money for college, start looking into scholarships, student loans or other types of student aid.
