I am planning on going to my sisters house for my nephews birthday party which is 3 hours away. I will be 38 weeks on Friday and the last 2 appointments I have had I was 1 1/2 cm and 50%. I have had no complications with my pregnancy, no swelling, great blood pressure, baby moves a lot, and I have just had the normal aches and pains of pregnancy in the last trimester. I'm nervous about going but my husband and the rest of my family thinks everything will be fine. If I go I planned on stopping every 45 minutes or so for 5-10 minutes for bathroom break and to walk around a little to keep everything circulating good. I have a 2 year old and she was born 4 days over due and I traveled all through my pregnancy with her and pretty much just as much with this pregnancy. I don't know if I should go or not but I have a place to relax when I get there and there is a pool to jump into to get the pressure off of my pelvis. Should I go? Is it safe?
I'm 38 weeks at 1 1/2 cm and 50% is it safe to travel 3 hours from home?
