Hello all,

I'm hoping somebody might have some ideas for me. I'm barely 29 years old and for the past year or two I've started getting random pimples on my face and even between my breasts. Growing up I can only remeraber having maybe 5 pimples- ever.

Right now I have a few in my hairline, one on my right temple, one on my chin, and my forehead has extremely small bumps that are my skin color.... I don't know what they are though. I'm getting the pimples, like I said, in between my breasts, too. They are just popping up one right after another.

I'm extremely thankful to have good skin, generally speaking, but I'm honestly fearful that I'm suddenly going to deal with acne like a teenager. I don't know what to do.

I'd like to point out about myself that I prefer basic and natural care. I'm not into using 10 face products per day, lol.

My skin care right now is just a daily washing (I switch off between Clinique, Aveeno, and Neutrogena) and I use some oil blotting sheets if I'm feeling oily. I'm using some mineral makeup but I only wear makeup maybe 1-2 times per week.

I just want to do what I can to PREVENT future issues. I want to prevent skin discoloration and scarring.

Does diet truly have an effect or is it purely hormonal? My family has pretty good genes- my mother and grandmother haven't had problems...I don't think I've ever seen a zit on my moms face, now that I think of it. My sisters and brother have good skin, too. The youngest two (twins- boy/girl) have probably had more problems than the rest of us though they are pretty lucky compared to many teens.

I do want some natural remedies and what I mean is, if applicable, diet tips, drinking water (I know), ... if studies show that making some major food concoction works in treating/preventing pimples, I'll try it...but I'm not into being experimental with putting milk and honey and retinol all over my face. LOL Maybe I'm being difficult here.... to be honest, I used to get away with just wiping my face clean with a warm wash cloth and I'd only wash my face with the cleanser maybe every other day. So to go from that to having to go to a dermatologist or pay attention to face wash ingredients...it's just all very new to me.

I'm about prevention. Simply put. What can I do? How can I prevent damage to my skin in the event that I do have a break out?

Thank you so much in advance for any advice you might be able to offer.
