...hockey some day? I'm 19 years old now. I have played Street hockey/ Roller Hockey since I was a little kid about 8 years old. I can tear it up on roller blades, forwards, backwards, side to side, you name it, that's no problem. I'm not no Wayne Gretzky at hockey but i'm pretty good. I can ice skate not horribly but decent i guess. I can go backwards (Slowly), forward (pretty fast), Turning im ok (i can turn going pretty quick), but stopping seems to be my problem... I can't do the stop that all the real hockey players do where they spray the ice every where and stop on a dime pretty much haha (idk what it's technically called). I can keep my balance easily. I'm just wondering if i'm too old to try and perfecting ice skating and start playing ice hockey. and how long it would take to be good enough at ice skating to play ice hockey. I've always wanted to play ice hockey my entire life but I never could afford it, but now that I'm older and got a job and some money I want to finally do it. Thanks everyone, I've been wondering this for a little while
