im 16 in november and im about 5 foot 10 and 150lbs, im wondering if a yz 85

would be a good bike for me? just to play around on and get to my friends houses and stuff. im not gunna be racing just hitting medium sized jumps and messin around?
 
I'd suggest something a little bigger, maybe a 125. I was 16 years old when I got my KLX 650 thumper, and I grew into it. An 85 is a little small, and eventually you'll need more power.

Also, unless it's street legal, be careful riding to your friends houses. I got into big trouble when I was younger for riding without a licensed vehicle, even though I was riding in the ditch next to the road!!
 
if your just gonna be messin around then a yz 85 would be a good bike even tho its a small bike its powerful for its size, personally i would recommend a 125 for you considering your weight,hight etc.
 
If you don't mind feeling like you are riding a kids mini bike then it would be fine, but really you are way too tall for the bike. Go for the yz125cc instead
