...contract under me? Okay, My mom, dad and I all have the phone company US Cellular. I hate it, but my parents are fine with the service. I'm sixteen, btw. I'm wondering if I can switch to Verizon Wireless. I know you have to be eighteen to sign a contract, and I'm not, so it obviously wont work with me just on the contract. But is it possible that I can sign it and my mom or dad can sign below me saying that if I don't pay the bill or something they will pay it? Or is that impossible? Because if one of their names is on the contract they have to have the service too, don't they? & they don't want Verizon. I hope this isn't too confusing. Thanks so much.

Well see, you have to have a contract under one of your parents name, meaning they have to "own" the contract but you can be the only one on it, not the other way around. Your one parent can sign the contract, meaning it will be under their name, and then your other can sign for verizon, and they can both get on that plan, if you see what i mean.
