stroke. HELP!!!? OK. I have been riding four wheelers my whole life and i like going fast. I'm not intimidated by fast machines, but people are telling me that 250 2 stroke will. I do every kind of riding. I have a cabin by treverton, so i do some crazy hill climbing and jumping. My neihbor has a track, so i'll do some track racing too. I also have some trails too. I like kawasaki, but it's not like i'm loyal or anything. Just want the best machine i can get. I don't know whether to get a 125 or a 250 2 stroke. Anybody have some feedback. Anything can help. (The money difference is no big deal, i have that covered.)

Get either a 250 2 stroke or something like a 250F four stroke by Yamaha. Both are a blast and not too expensive. We just picked up a 2003 250F for $1700 and spent another $300 on tires, seals, bearings and general maintenance. It rips. I actually like it better than the 2 stroke, but both are great. Just don't get ham fisted on your first ride or you will get a full taste of terra firma.

You should have no problem with the 250. At your age and younger, I had a 175, but rode a 250 and a 350 quite often. At 17, I was riding a 750. I'm only 5'-8".
Happy riding!

you didn't state your weight???

by the sounds of your "need for speed" ... I would say go for the 250 as it will have plenty of power for your needs and should require less frequent rebuilds.

the 125 would probably be okay if you are a lighter weight rider but the 250 gives you room to grow too... and it will have more power & torque for the hill climbing...

edit:
I see the thumbs down gremlins are around ... would still like that explained to me!!! grow a pair and state your disagreement instead of being childish with that stuff ...

get yourself a suzuki RM 250, i have two of them and they have great power, and if your hill climbing, it s plenty of low end power for that, by the way 2 STROKES RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

250! A 125 will piss you off after a week of riding it. I started riding a 250 when I was 11 years old.
If you buy a 125, you will sell it before next year.

I will start by saying you should get off the 2-strokes. They're not so great anymore and it's gonna bite you back hard when environmentalists come down on 2-strokes hard. Why do you think the Blaster and Banshee have died out and they barely are worth anything anymore? Ok well I can tell you now that even a 250 four-stroke will fly. I've seen grown men scared to ride the new yz250f's and the kx250's. Really that would be your best bet to go with.
