Ignition switch wiring help 1982 GS400

Could anybody tell me which wires go to where on this bike.
I have
Red - positive
Orange - seems to be lights and ignition
Grey - who knows
Brown - who knows

you guys probably noticed in the other thread i had fixed the issue about the ignition switch key replacement etc..
but after riding it i found out that the bike wasn't charging the battery like it should be so i think I may have messed up the wires.

get a repair manual for your bike.. they should have wirign maps in the back

those things are so complicated :madd:
i tried to follow the wiring back to the coils and used a meter to test electric currents coming out of the battery and i couldnt figure out the purpose of the grey and brown. could not wiring these right make the battery not charge properly?

Yeah, if a loop isnt completed or soemthing... i guess it is depeendent on what the wires do.. which is why id need to see the wiring map.. sorry i couldnt help more

haha yeah thanks though, i have to go to the shop tomorrow or the day after, i think i can probably get the guy to help me figure it out
