If Zales tanks, what happens to my insurance I bought for my jewelry?

I heard that Zales is going under and not expected to survive 2009 as a company, what happens then. I purchased my wedding set from them and bought the $100.00 insurance for life. That makes it free to resize, solder, clean, inspect. Then Zales offers upgrades if you purchase with them, which im looking forward to doing. Am I just screwed out of all this once they go under?
I guess buying anything from anyone long term , isnt a good idea now. I guess I better get my ring re-sized, cleaned, inspected and soldered together before the company goes under huh?

Only if some company decides to take over the service contracts with the hopes of winning new customers.

No WAY would I take my ring into them now. What guarantee do you have that the store would be open when you go back in to pick it up?
