...training and get caught doing? something stupid so they delay you going to that school for another year and in the mean while are going to be reassigned to another unit, can't you request to be out in a unit closer to your family even if you've only been at that particular base you were supposed to have training at for less than a year? Or do you have to wait a certain amount of time to request to transfer? They're going to put you in another unit anyway. Why not one closer to your family like Ft. hood?
