If you're eligible for a t-mobile upgrade?

Can you walk into a nearby t-mobile store and have it done for you assuming they have that particular phone for which you're eligible for an upgrade?

Or must you perform your upgrades from the online "upgrade" button and wait for them to ship it to you.
