if you're allergic to apples can you eat apple flavored candy?

i'm allergic to apples. when i eat one my throat swells and itches and stuff...and it's with other fruits too. i can eat grapes, strawberries, and bananas but that's basically it. but if i'm allergic to apples, is it safe for me to eat apple flavored candy...such as fun dip?
