If you write a successful cook-book, have you changed reality?

Think about all the pots of delicious stew that would never have existed.

How much does anything you write change reality? Is there a certain threshold you need to reach before it matters?
 
Surrrre, in the time it took for you to cook that first delicious stew, you could have baked two cakes.

Which means if we're working on a scale of 1 Delicous Stew equals approximately 5/7th's of a Delicous cake, and Two cakes would take approximately 2 and a half hours to make, whereas one delicious Stew would take at least ten hours for brilliant tenderisation of the meat. So by Making Stew instead of cake, you have deprived the Universe of about 9/14th's of an awesome Cake Party.
