...planet,would theists make the? mistake to worship them instead of worshiping God,their creator? This question is only for theists (christians,muslims,jews)
I asked if christians would worship aliens(idolatry),not what religion aliens would be

that is by far the most unintelligent thing i have ever heard
they would not
because they have been conditioned to be close minded. those who are close minded stay with there faith
those who are not become atheists
those who change faith are gullible.

we will never find intelligent life in our universe until we ourselves are intelligent as a whole and considering most of the world believe in fairy tale creatures i would say thats a long way away

An Islamic point of view:

Nope. God simply says, anything that exists within the space-time continuum (Aliens, Buddha, krishna, Jesus) Is not our lord. It says that the rules he created does not apply to him. He does not live within time, therefore everlasting.

(93) Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to ((Allah)) Most Gracious as a servant. (Quran 19:93)
