If you were Roger Federer would you try to improve your head-to-head record

versus his arch rival Rafael Nadal?
I know that whenever Federer retires, he won't finish his career with the winning head-to-head record versus his arch rival Rafael Nadal, but I think he can make their rivalry closer because right now Nadal has twice as much wins as Federer.
Smart G: That's true. For them to meet in more finals, they have to play their way getting to more finals so Federer can always have the chance to have more wins than Rafa because I don't think Federer is exactly happy with their head-to-head rivalry knowing that he is the greatest tennis player ever to play the sport most likely.

I am a Fed fan, but I appreciate Nadal's play. I certainly don't hate Nadal. But I have to admit, at this stage, Nadal does OWN Federer. I think the head-to-head record will be playing in the back of his mind until he can string together 2-3 wins in a row against his nemesis, or until he beats him in a GS final again. Sampras retired with winning records against most of his main rivals.

Of course. Federer has 16 grand slam wins, Nadal had 6. If Federer decided to retire tomorrow the only thing that he would be thinking about is the 14 times he lost to Rafa, not the dominance of men's tennis
