If you were poor, what would you think about rich people complaining about their lack...

...of money? Let's say you were on a cruise ship.

You saw in the television a really rich person complaining about the multi-million dollar bonus he lost due to the mortgage crisis. Next to the television you saw a group of people that says "cry me a river. We shouldn't feel sorry for you! We owe so much money on our house that we bought from you! Our $150,000 mortgage is so high and we have to work so hard to pay for it. Those rich people are evil especially when they flaunting the amount of money they make to us. I only make $35k per year and they complain about their multi-million dollar salaries! We should be getting paid more! Tax them all!"

Of course, that was your table and you politely served them their margaritas. At that point you slowly think about the $500 a month you make working 12 hrs a day 7 days a week on this cruise line.

What do you think of those rich people complaining about their fortunes?

I hate when people do that. I have a relative who does the same thing. They are certainly not rich, but have enough money to be comfortable. They have two vehicles that are in good shape, own their own home, have enough money for plenty of extras, vacations, savings, etc. Yet they complain about how broke they are and this and that. In the meantime, Im sitting over here barely making ends meet, renting a house that is basically a dump, and my car is falling apart with no way to get a new one. I get to take two "vacations" a year - both to visit our parents, and they pay our gas up there and our lodging so that they get to see us at least occasionally (and without them paying for it, we wouldnt be able to afford to do it)

I think its ridiculous, but I often bite me tongue to avoid fights.
