If you were moving to another continent, how would you take pet fish there?

Could you take all of your pet fish there? And how would you? (two goldfish, two plecostomus, two bettas, one gourami, four snails, three ghostshrimp) Would you have to have them shipped on a boat? Or could they fly in a plane??

It will be a lot of hassle as Pleccy said and I agree I really wouldn't bother unless I had something very large and particularly rare and expensive.

It also depends on what country you're leaving and what one you're going to. Some countries have very strict import/export regulations and this can cover ornamental live fish. In the UK for instance you need a licence from DEFRA to bring the fish into the country, without, and if customs catch you, you will be fined.
