The obvious pick is Jordan, but I personally would pick Magic Johnson. He is not only a great player, but he makes everyone else on the team better. He is a proven winner. He has won championships at each level, high school, college and many in the pros, not to mentioned an Olympic Gold. Before he got to the Lakers, the Lakers were a mediocre team, the first season he came on board they won the championship. When he left they were mediocre again (until Kobe and Shaq came along). Also, he played an exciting brand of basketball that filled the seats, sold merchandise and along with Bird, single-handedly, resurrected the NBA.
