If you throw salt at a zombie’s open wound, would they dry up and become weak

over a period of time? In the unlikely event of a zombie infestation, if the carcasses were fresh, would throwing salt into their open wounds dry them up, weakening them or slowing them down over a long period of time? Just wondering...
