if you take you're dog to the salon for haircuts do you still need to buy the

grooming tools? I have a samoyed and some website told me that I should buy thinning shears, dog scissors, etc. and I thought that if you simply just take you're dog to the salon they could do all that for you. Is there another use for the grooming tools? All I know is that they're made for cutting your dogs hair
 
If you routinely take your dog to be groomed, I can't imagine why you would need to buy anything except a brush or Furminator for its daily grooming needs.
