If you see a car accedent and call 911, and they ask you for your name, does that mean

you might be a witness? Im 15 years old, and i called 9/11 cause i saw an accedent, the operator asked me my name. I didnt see it, i just came across it. Does this mean im a witness. Im kinda scared, i just reported it to help not to be a witness or anything like that, i dont want to go to court.
 
Yes, if they need you. I highly doubt you will have to go to court. Just need you to provide information to substantiate what happened for the report.
