...marks left on your car too? I'm just wondering because when i was reversing out of a shopping centre carpark i noticed when i was about to drive off that the car that was parked next to mine had paint scraped of the corner of the back panel. I didn't notice or feel that i did it but as i was driving home i felt horrible thinking imagine it was me that did it but i didn't think i did. So my question is could i tell by looking at my car? I have no marks or paint or scratches on mine. Iv had a really good look. The car came and parked there next to me while i was sitting in the car about to take off so i have no idea if they had this mark/scrape on their car before getting there. Im probably just being a worry for nothing i hope. But would i notice if i did just by looking at my car or can u do this accidentally and not even know?
 
If you left a big enough mark on their car that you can see it when you are in your car, then yes. You would have probably felt it, or at least have some kind of mark on your car.
