If you saw them with their book out and conferring with others would you turn them in? They could risk expulsion, and you would have to deal with that guilt, also one of them knows you saw them.
Yes. Just alert the teacher that they are aware that you saw them. Then he/she can make up an excuse about how they saw them with their book on their lap. Suggest a note on the quiz that asks the student to meet with the teacher after class, then they can discuss it. That way if the student gets busted like two days after the quiz, it won't look like someone told.
