If you met a guy at camp that you like but he never called you, should you forget...

...about him? I met this amazing guy at camp and we have so much in common. We both love the same sports and we can talk for hours. During camp (day/night camp) he would put his arms around me and we would hold hands (:. But after camp ended he never called me once and i don't think a girl should call a guy so i've been waiting.... for a MONTH!! I don't know what to do now. He only lives ten minutes from me but i can't call him to hang out b/c my mom knows his aunt and i'm not allowed to date. T^T help?? (btw i'm 13)
 
Sweetheart, I've been in a similar situation. As heartbreaking as this is, it seems pretty clear that this guy is not interested in you. Teenage guys don't view holding hands and embracing as anything major; what it meant to you and what it meant to him were two different things..especially if he lives about 10 minutes away from you and STILL hasn't called. When a guy likes you, you never have to guess, you always know; and trust me when I say that if he felt that way about you, he would have called. For your heart's sake, moving on is the best thing to do.
