So, to anyone else who likes this sort of stuff, I've got a few questions:
What are your favorite topics to discuss? Your least favorite?
Why do you bother with discussion?
Favorite parts of a debate?
Ever find a person or group worth wasting your breath on?
Anything else you'd like to add?

I'm someone who is actively involved with discussions. Whether it's something as small as Twilight or as big as religion. Hell, if you look at my questions, that's what they mostly are: Discussion. I am always keeping an open mind, and I don't take it personally when I've been beaten. My only problem is that it's very, very hard for me to find anyone worth having an open discussion with. My friends take things I say to personally, and other people give up after just a few basic points. And to be honest, on most subjects, I look for someone to prove me wrong. Like, I want to believe in something, but my own logic gets in the way and I need someone to outsmart me. Lol, does that make sense?

If you're answering, please, keep an open mind and be respectful.
Those are really my only two guide lines for anything I post on Y!A, and it'd just be so awesome if everyone else did.

I love discussions and arguments. I'm very open minded myself; I like to debate or talk to learn something or teach people something somethings I am very strong on like homosexuals, bis, transgenders, etc. other things I listen to learn, like religious beliefs. I don't think there's anything wrong arguing with a statement based on logic. Logic is more trustworthy than just believing whatever people say. Socrates said always ask questions. I never accept something as a fact until in make complete sense or until I have proof.
