Do you have to fight? Arent there other positions? Im look at Goarmy.com and they list a bunch of things like animal specialist, mental health that you can do to help the army. So you dont have to fight or die just because your a part of the army, right? I dont know much about this. My dad told me that you're going to have to fight if they ask you to. Can someone please answer my question>

Okay so I can choose my job and I will get deployed if they tell me.
If I go in as an animal sepcialist, I will help animals but they will train me just in case.
Then after I am done - the army will give me benefits..
Or will I be part of the army forever?
