If you have verizon service and an Alltel phone can the Alltel phone be used

No you usually cannot do that different cell phone companys use different technology in their phones so it is most likely not compatible. you should call verizon to check.

No, Verizon phones can work with Alltel but Alltel can not work with Verizon for some odd reason, sorry!

You can use a Verizon phone on an Alltel plan, but not the other way around- sorry
