If you have uncorrected astigmatism, are you likely to sometimes see it as a double image?

In other words, a second image, a ghost of the first image, with the two images overlapping, and the ghost image being displaced a short distance in the direction of the astigmatism?
This question is about a single eye, not an effect between the two eyes.
