My friend told me he read an article in the Daily Telegraph on 18/12/08 in which it said that the Bank of England is going to print more notes. I've seen some articles speculating that this may happen.
If you have savings (e.g. £4000), what would be the best thing to do with that?
Convert it to Yen, or Swiss francs, or buy gold or what???
Also how do you go about doing this? When would be the best time to do this? And I guess it's inevitable that we're going to lose some of our savings due to inflation or from having to convert it
