What are the pros n cons to the upgrade that u have noticed on ur 8100 (if any)?
I'm more interested in the cons and if its worth going thru with the upgrade. Thanks!

The initilization DID take forever-I thought I bricked my 8310. Anyone who reads this and DL the .55, remember after the DTM loads all the apps and starts the restart/initializion cycle-it take 15 or 20 minutes-DONT FREAK OUT.
 
I have the .55 on my phone. There aren't really alot of cons, I would just suggest if you are upgrading and have a media card, take it out and then upgrade. The pros are the HTML email, it seems to run faster for me. I really enjoy it, hope you do too if you decide to upgrade.
 
Are u on an 8100?
And in other words I am not going to have to worry about stuff like settings all going back 2 factory defaults?
Or losing txts and emails or D/L'd apps?
And putting the SD card back in afterwards will not cause it to become unrecognizable (sp?) and lose pics, music, etc ?

Having Web Browser issues, tells me I need full WAP 2.0 support if I try to go to Hotmail, yet cannot make any changes.

Cannot get HTML emails and have no ability to make changes in email settings to do so.

Everything else seems to work but those two issues are drivig me nuts

Any further insight is greatly appreciated,
