If you go for a drug test at GM, does it mean you have the job?

Most likely he has the job. Companies have to pay for you to have those drug test. I assume they wouldn't be willing to pay for it if they weren't going to offer you a job
 
I hope it isn't the SUV plant?
Anyway... It means you are very close, they wouldn't pay for the Test if you weren't being seriously considered.
There is no way of knowing what they will do or when.
 
My boyfriend recently got called in for his testing then got called back for an interview and not long after that got called in to take his drug test. We thought that if you got called for a drug test that basically meant you had the job as long as you passed. We know he passed. Does anyone know if this is true or how long it takes GM to call after this point?
 
Unless he fails, he pretty much has the job. But nothing is secure until they actually make him an offer detailing salary, expected work hours, etc.
