Got in a car accident recently after my insurance lapsed and had no insurance. It was my next store neighbor so he didn't report it to the police and just let it go for awhile (about 2 months) now he is going to sue me, I leave for boot camp in a few months will I still be able to go or will I get kicked out....is there anything I should do that I haven't thought of right away....by the way I have insurance now with a different company. I live in NJ and I would prefer helpful answers not ones that critique my mistake of driving while uninsured...thanks everyone for the insight.
