If you get arrested; after you get out are you allowed to vote?

I`m not sure, but I picked up that if you get arrested you loose your right to vote. Is that true? Only in some countries? Thank you.
 
I don't see why that right would be taken away. It doesn't seem like they connect so you SHOULD have the right to vote regardless but you could just ask someone who works at a jail or a policeman.
 
In a few states you don't lose the right to vote if you are a convicted felon, but in most you do.
Getting arrested won't have any effect.
Getting convicted on something other than a felony won't have an effect
 
I think it would depend on the crime that you were arrested for and if you was found guilty or not.
I also think you wouldnt be able to vote if the crime was a felony.
