Let's say you work in an office and there is a really attractive person who gets a lot of attention. This person gets paid more than you, has better looks, a nice apartment/car, etc. Because of this you treat this person with envy (ignoring them, trying to sabotage them, spread rumors, feel really jealous and talk about your dislike).
You then find out (by accident...) that this person has a disease such as (Cancer, HIV/AIDS).
Would you still feel jealous? If not how would this make you feel?
