If you do weighted squats at the gym please read:?

I just started doing weighted squats at the gym, starting with 100lbs. I noticed that with the bar lying on my back and behind my shoulders, the weight of it really presses down on my boney spine. Is this weight normal on the back/shoulders when doing squats.

I know some people can do monstrous squats, so how would you hold 200-300lbs on your back?

Yes I am doing the form properly as well. Going parallel, keeping back in natural arch (straight)
