...touch or take nothing, would u? Imagine the things you could see - but you'd only ever be able to revisit them in your memories. You couldn't take pictures, record sounds or collect any samples of anything you encounter. You couldn't interact with any other beings you might find out there, and they would never know that you even existed, let alone visited their corner of the cosmos.
I'd definitely do it, but my heart would ache terribly for the relegation of these things to my all-too-human, too easily flawed memory. Some, though, wouldn't want to do it - for some, it would be like torture, like window shopping when you know you're never going to be able to buy the pretty things inside. It would be torture to me, but quite bittersweet.
On second thought, it occurs to me that this is exactly the sort of existence often attributed to ghosts. Hmmnn...
