I'm asexual. That means I have no desire to have sex, and never have. I tried it once; it was moist, disgustingly biological, and gross. From what I've been able to see, standing on the outside, sexuality seems to be nothing but an annoyance. People appear to spend their whole lives struggling to perform one act over and over and over again like bacteria, justifying the most outrageous behaviour and spending vast sums of time and money on achieveing it.
Me? I'm glad I'm asexual. If doctors offered to "cure" me, I'd laugh in their faces. I am immensely grateful to be spared the ridiculous sexual monomania which seems to grip everyone else around me. My question for the rest of you disgusting sexuals is this:
If it was possible to safely remove your sex drive so that you'd never experience it again, would you do it? If not, why not?
