Today my friend and I were discussing the world and how / why it is the way it is today. The subject of time alteration came up. By time alteration, I mean revising or omitting parts of history to create a better world today. For example, deleting the Christian dark ages (that's what it's called, sorry if that offends anyone) from the timeline of history so that technological advancement goes on uninhibited.
This is the criteria:
-If you remove something from the timeline, it never happened and never will happen. For example, if you say that the development of nuclear weapons should be stopped, no person(s), group, or organization will ever develop them.
So far, we've decided that the Christian dark ages and the development of nuclear weapons should be deleted, and that the Sumerian civilization should be left alone. My question: what else should be removed / edited / left as it?
Okay, fine. Forget I mentioned the Dark Ages. Just answer the question.
