If you could ask your favourite author anything, what would it be?

I don't necessarily have a FAVORITE author. I read so much that I cannot pick just one.

But if I ever got to speak to any authors that I like, then I would ask them what inspired them to write these books. If writing was something the always liked, or something they just picked up.
 
Brandon Sanderson - Mistborn series

I would ask why in hell's name he ended the series like he did, I mean it was great, but totally unexpected!
