...then how come you are allowed to ride a bike after getting your license suspended? Seems Ironic.

Dude...I was wasted and, oh man, I was like riding my skateboard and got busted and it was like such like a bummer like.

Yeah it seemed silly to me to. I thought I was doing a good thing by not driving a car while drinking and then I get pulled over and they made me do the test and everything, red lights flashing, I mean geez... They let me go if I promised to walk my bike instead, yeah, yeah, good nite officer, thank you for not taking me in or writting me a ticket or whatever youve got the power to do in this situation. I thought it was silly and made jokes about it and what not and then it happened ........... Traffick was moving along pretty good and then all of a sudden BLAM!!!! This drunk dude on a bike comes flying into the intersection & people were getting in accidents trying not to hit him! Like 5 cars got knocked up and this drunk dude, weaving all over the place just keeps going down the street totally unaware of the crash site he caused behind him.
It made sence to me then. Just because you dont have 2 tons of steel dosent mean that your not dangerous. Just being drunk n public and making bad desicions puts everybody at risk. From now on I will keep my drinking in small parties at home where I dont risk other people. Its just not fair that somebody might have to live the rest of their life with your bad desicion. All I can say is please dont go into traffic if you are intoxicated. And when you think your ok then your probably not.

I thought DUI was limited to motorized vehicles.

DUI on a bicycle seems excessive, to me. Ranks with speeding tickets, on a bike.

Who can ride a bike while intoxicated? I can barely ride one one sober!

I had a cop tell me I was going too fast. I thought I might get a ticket because I refused to date him. I think bike tickets are personal.
