about Lincoln, what would they say? That he was a Yankee, politically correct, elitist, big-government liberal who was a terrible president and who terrorized those patriotic Confederates who weren't racist? Would they coincidentally have a Sarah Palin or Bob McDonnell for President bumper sticker along with a Confederate flag on their porch?
Along with League of the South and Sons/Daughters of Confederate Veterans membership cards?
RoboCop: Homophobes can bite me.
Splitter: Lol, in between their listening to Jeff Foxworthy and Toby Keith?
How would I know: "Just because you're a Republican, doesn't make you a conservative". I thought that was your mantra now?
There's a reason you guys attract the south, and are swayed so much by Country music and folksiness. Are you dumb enough to deny that?
Phillip H: Oh, really? Ask Bob McDonnell. Ask the late Strom Thurmond or Jesse Helms. Ask Pat Buchanan or Ann Coulter their thought of the Confederacy. Or you could ask Rick Perry why he wants to SECEDE FROM THE UNION.
They could also ask their new Senator who opposes the 1964 Civil Rights Act. They really try to have it both ways.
Constitution Party Presidential Candidate Chuck Baldwin says the two worst presidents were Woodrow Wilson and Abraham Lincoln because they "expanded the government".
They've been in the process of attacking another early Republican president: Teddy Roosevelt.
Don't call me dude: I'm from the south. I was not trying to insult all southerners. All I said was you can't deny that half the Republicans around here think the Confederacy was right in that war, and the revisionist, loopy history of the Republicans on here think the Confederacy was liberals (ha ha) even in spite of that. Half of those don't hold it against Lincoln, though.
