Don't know what you're looking for, but the assembly line innovation made the manufacture process of the automobile much less costly. It changed the nation and the world because, suddenly, the average person could afford an auto and the world was mobile! It changed the way we work, the way we travel, and very importantly, it changed the dating and courting process. Cars were called "bedrooms on wheels" because, for the first time in history, young couples could be alone together without chaperones.
