If you are late paying, can the bank sell your car without repossesing it?

I had an attorney call me and tell me that they now own the car now, is he bluffing or not? Can i redeem or make this right, I have possession of the car and haven't received any legal notices, of course they dont have my address so maybe they sent something and I just dont have it. The loan/car is in the state of Florida.
 
The lawyer's office has bought the loan, so yes, they now have the right to repossess it. You can keep hiding, but they will find you, and they Will take back the car.
