If you already have a normal plan with rogers, and you get a blackberry,

will the blackberry still work? i am looking for a new phone, but on the same plan as i have currently with rogers.
my phone right now is a samsung propel.
i found a few phones on kijiji, and the one i really liked is a blackberry.

can blackberry phones be used on a regular plan with rogers, or do you HAVE to have a data plan?
one of my friends told me you do, yet another used to have a motorolla phone and got a blackberry on the same plan.

so i really need help. thanks.
 
i did the same thing for a little while, you don't need a data plan to use the blackberry it will work fine with your plan. depending on the model you might even be able to set up wifi so you can use the internet for free at coffee shops and other places with free wireless.
