If with the inverse square law of gravity, the attraction get's weaker is

Gravity is everywhere my friend, even the most distant stars and galaxies have a gravitational effect on us, it is just that the efgfect is so minute it is virtually untetectable.
 
uhm..... well alot of people think space has no gravity, but its not true.
even the pull from very distant stars still effects us.

gravity never reaches zero in our universe.

space is said to have mirco gravity because of this
